2023/2024 “Women Who Ski” Vacation Packages Announced

Update September 29, 2023: We’ve added a fourth Women Who Ski trip to Sun Valley, Idaho, March 10-15, 2024. It was announced to our newsletter subscribers first, and then on our Facebook page. Update June 21, 2023: Our Jackson Hole and Whistler Blackcomb trips are sold out. There are still spaces left for our Whitefish, Montana, ski trip, and prices have been reduced for that trip. I am excited to announce not one, not two, but three different organized ski vacation packages for members of “Women Who Ski.” Locations are Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming; Whitefish Mountain Resort in Montana, and Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada. Thanks to Shanon Jensen of Ski.com, a member of Women Who Ski for putting these packages together for us. As of this writing, either Shanon or I will be attending and hosting at one or more of these locations.

Sign-ups are on a first-come first-serve basis. These trips are for women only. Solo travelers are encouraged to attend, or grab your best gal pal and join us. We foster a nurturing, supportive environment on our trips. No matter your ski level or experience, you are welcome to join the trip. Please read my recap story here of our inaugural Women Who Ski trip to Breckenridge for details on how we plan to run these trips. We will also be organizing meet-ups like we did with our Breckenridge trip so local girls from the Women Who Ski group can join the fun for a day or two of skiing with the women who flew in.

If you want to take advantage of the discounted double occupancy rate, please reach out in a post in our Women Who Ski Facebook group to find a roommate. Shanon will not be pairing up roommates this year. We are offering members of Women Who Ski a custom experience with these trips so for example, if you don’t need ground transportation, or you need to fly out before the end of the trip, Shanon will work with you.

Trip #1:
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Wyoming | January 21– 26, 2024

What’s included:

• 5-night stay at Mountain Modern, 380 West Broadway, Jackson

• Breakfast daily

• Roundtrip daily shuttles to and from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

• Two happy hours for “meet-and-greet”

• Roundtrip ground shuttle on request from Jackson Hole Airport

• Lift tickets are not included. Ikon pass is highly recommended as the cost of day tickets to Jackson Hole are extremely expensive. Be sure to get the pass that includes Jackson. You can buy an Ikon pass directly from Shanon’s custom link here.

Price with above inclusions:

$1,165 per person single occupancy in a king room*

$750 per person double occupancy in a double queen room*
Larger 2 bedrooms options also available on request.

*Deposit of $250 due now to hold your spot. Balance due 90 days prior to trip.

*This trip requires 20 ladies to make it a go. Once the 20-person mark is met, you will be notified and the deposit will become non-refundable and the trip will be a go.

Trip #2:
Whitefish Mountain Resort, Montana | February 18 – 23, 2024

What’s included:

• 5-night stay at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake (Viking Lodge or Main Lodge), 1380 Wisconsin Ave., Whitefish

• Breakfast daily

• Roundtrip ground transfers from Glacier Park International Airport or Amtrak depot

• Roundtrip shuttles daily to and from Whitefish Mountain Resort

• Two happy hours for “meet-and-greet”

• 4-day lift pass

Price:
$1685 per person double occupancy at Viking Lodge*

$3,185 single occupancy at The Main Lodge *

*Deposit of $250 due now. Balance due 90 days prior to trip.

*This trip requires 20 ladies to make it a go. Once the 20-person mark is met, you will be notified and the deposit will become non-refundable and the trip will be a go.

Whistler Blackcomb, Whistler, BC, Canada | March 17 – 22, 2024

What’s included:

• 5-night stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Whistler Village Suites, 4308 Main St., Whistler

• Breakfast not included as these are units with full kitchens

• Roundtrip ground transfers from Vancouver airport

• Two happy hours for “meet-and-greet”

• Lift tickets are not included but can be added on request. Epic Pass is highly recommended. Buy your pass here from Shanon’s custom link.

Price:

$ 1,160 per person based on 3 per two-bedroom unit (one shared room with two queens)

$1,800 Per person based on single occupancy in a king suite. Very limited supply.

*Deposit of $250 due now. Balance due 90 days prior to trip.
