The first “Women Who Ski” ski trip takes place January 29 through February 3, 2023, and organizer, Shanon Jensen, has created two planned meet-ups so women in the local area who are not participating in the ski trip can meet, mingle, and ski with the woman who have flown in for the ski trip.

“This is a great way for woman local to Breckenridge who are members of the Women Who Ski group to meet in person other members for future ski friendships and networking,” says Genevieve Schmitt, founder of Women Who Ski. “I encourage local women to drive over for the day and consider attending the first happy hour meet-up planned after the first day of skiing, on Monday, January 30. It will be an opportune time to meet Shanon and the women on the trip and make plans for the rest of the week.

Local women who want to spend that first night in a hotel in Breckenridge, can take advantage of a discounted rate at the Residence Inn hotel where the group is staying, that’s only available through Shanon to Women Who Ski members. The $225 Monday night only price includes free breakfast on Tuesday and free parking. Contact Shanon by emailing her at Shanon@ski.com to book this.

Breckendridge Meet-Ups for Women Who Ski Members:

1. Monday, January 30: Meet at the T-Bar for Happy Hour 3:30-5:30 pm located at the base of Peak 8. This is a no host meet up. Shanon has arranged the hotel shuttle to pick up the group at 5:30 and return to the hotel.

2. Thursday February 2 at Maggie’s bar for Happy Hour 3:30-5:30 pm at the base of Peak 9. Again, no host bar and shuttle pick-up to return to the hotel.

Additional questions can be directed to Shanon at her email address above.
