Women Who Ski Launches Official Membership

Women Who Ski, the largest and fastest growing all-women online community of ski and snowboard enthusiasts, is launching a membership plan to be able to continue offering quality ski vacation packages.

“Based on the sell-out of our trips last season, it’s imperative I move to a membership model to administrate and facilitate offering great trips,” says Genevieve Schmitt, founder of Women Who Ski. “When a group such as Women Who Ski works with a travel agent to secure and hold a block of rooms, the group must put down a deposit. Without a treasury from which to draw this deposit, Women Who Ski is unable to have access to lodging at the best ski resorts. There are many groups and ski clubs vying for these properties. If someone wants to go on our ski and snowboard trips, she will have to be a paying member of Women Who Ski. We are re-inventing the ski club model for the 21st century where everyone is online in a virtual community.”

Starting with the 2024 / 2025 ski season, Women Who Ski is offering two ski and snowboard vacation packages in the U.S. with one destination being an Epic Pass resort, and one destination being an Ikon Pass Resort. Based on demand, there’s always the possibility of offering more trips like we did last year. Anyone who wishes to have access to these trips must be a paid Women Who Ski member. Note: you do not have to have purchased one of those passes to go on that trip. You can always buy a multi-day ticket at the window. The location and dates will be announced to paying members no later than August 1, 2024.

Annual membership is $45 and covers the ski season from June 2024 to May 2025. Price goes up September 1, 2024. If you join anytime within that 12-month period, there is no proration of the membership fee. You are paying to have access to our trips and to attend our trips. Membership benefits include access to our private mountain chat channels we are developing, as well as curated discounts. Thank you to Mountain Range of Motion, LLC owner Dr. Jessica Buja for offering 10% off her online ski fitness classes and 25% off one individual personal training session with a free initial 15 minute consult just to members.
